Flat sharkskin grey to me just really does look like primer no matter how you put it. If it was a gloss finish, then it would look intentional in a lot cleaner

Primer soaks up water, which would make the whole car rust. You could clear-coat it, but still.

You should dip the red door trim blue that's visible, not sure if you can get that little dip from dyc, but if nothing else you could find a blue rattle can at Lordco. Just some thought for food. And of course, I stayed committed.
