When setting up dongle I had problem would not go through. I called Signature solar and selected 1 for call back when they were available. They called few hours later. They updated and help get a few things set up. Was happy with the them getting up and going. I have been using it without wifi working good. Now with wifi even better

My problem was the 2.4 connection. I have Starlink and the 2.4 and 5G were combined, I split the connection. Also I live in a rural area and did not use a password. The dongle will not connect without one. Also if you enter it wrong it will try to connect but not give an error message when it fails.

Talking about 2.4ghz only. If you have a dedicated Router with 2.4 and 5ghz separated out will I need to shutdown the 5ghz side long enough for it to connect? Secondly, so any

Do we have to connect the wifi dongle in order to use this inverter? I would like to keep my system off the internet.

WiFi is not needed to use the inverter. It can be used without any internet connection.

I did every thing that you did even deleting my account so what was the outcome did you have to buy a new dongle because you already registered the other one ?

2 points. Can't you do a direct LAN Ethernet connection. Probably not, but I mention it anyway. Can't you use an Access Point? Put the AP in a good position and connect AP with the LAN of the EG4. Now you have better reception and "normal" wifi settings and possibilities. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks, is wifi needed to use the monitor app if you're within bluetooth range?

I had to use bluetooth to get mine to connect but I still had to enter my wifi information so I think not.

No wifi needed, the last 2 I setup connect immediately using only Bluetooth. Just log out of your account and click local connect then Bluetooth connect then click on the 6000xp Hotspot name and it opens 😉

I'll have to deal with all that sometime soon. I use a VPN router and hope their server doesn't have an issue with that.
