Is everyone who's complaining about the audience from the USA? I keep hearing chuckles & laughter from them clearly and FREQUENTLY. He's giving an almost educational presentation with background history about himself, interspersed with humour in order to keep the audience amused, and by the sounds of it: successfully so. Are audiences supposed to laugh out loud enough to the point of actually disrupting performances in order for you people to consider them "not awful"? 🙄 Especially considering this was recorded at a CONFERENCE, where audience members are expected to be hushed and listen respectfully, unless it's during e.g. a Q&A session where you're handed a microphone anyway because otherwise you'd literally have to shout or scream across the room to be heard in these types of venues. This didn't take a place somewhere like a stand-up comedy club, which-as opposed to where THIS video was recorded-would likely instead take place within an environment LACKING all kinds of sound-absorbing materials that reduce & quieten surroundings, because at such a venue you'd actually want crowd noise amplified. The noise from the audience isn't specifically recorded either (and why would it be at a conference?). No mics pointed towards or in the audience while recording = not much getting picked up of the sound from people's reactions!

The Tony Randall was great! And his Vincent Price too. What I like about Jim and other impressionists is how they can make the dead come alive again. It comforts me to hear Andy Griffith reciting Shakespeare on KZbin. It's like he never died. And I guess it's like ventriloquism too. Suddenly hearing George Clooney so distinctively, yet Jim looks nothing like him. I think we all wish George was hiding back stage waiting to come out. But then Jim may in George's voice say 'If truth be known, I could be the spokesperson for Depends for the last 10 years and 2 minutes ago....' And we're glad we don't see George at that point. LOL

You and I have a lot in common as I perform in my variety of 'Vegas Tributes" vocally and in full-dressed impersonation (80+) at this time, coast to coast...send me a contact and I'll send you my photos with Marion on our stage...btw, I've had Henry Winkler, Donny Most, Anson Williams, Eddie Mekka and Cindy Williams in prior car shows, as well as Ron Howard's other contemporaries Richard Dreyfus, McKenzie Philips, Paul "Milner" LeMat, Bo Hopkins, and Candy Clark....Enjoyed your video here, and hope to meet you!!! Yeah, well, he's done this so many times; they were offended that he just launched into it with just a brief preface. It sucked that when he made the pauses where he's used to getting laughter there was just silence. But how much mileage does he think he's gonna get out of this stuff? It's not even really funny; the text is really cheesy. and too self-consciously clever. And the voices seemed off. It's almost as if the voices being really good depends on the audience reaction. Finally, the bit of him saying he's the son of the mom on "Happy Days" seems weird. Can't he stand on his own?
