Hi Kenan, loved the video!! If you plant merrigolds around areas where you dont want ants, it will certainly help lessen the ant problem. Also spraying eucalyptus mixed with lemon will help against spiders and other creepy crawlies. Have a great day😀

I came across your channel through Chandlers Wild Life after watching his videos and you were next up and I watched and have been watching a bunch, great channel. I do have a question, I can’t seem to find info in your videos, what ever happened to the Albino tortoise you received as a gift? I remember seeing the original owner doing research on Angle and haven’t seen anything since. Hope you incubator situation doesn’t get out of control with all the insects. Love the channel. Always informative beyond what most other channels when it’s comes to reptiles, of course there are a select few who are great and you always seem to learn something new whenever you visit them. But thanks for the great information and hopefully I can find out what happened to your beautiful albino.

3 months ago a red ear slider laid eggs in my yard . Dug a hole in hard clay soil . The drought has made the soil hard as a rock . Yesterday I delicately dug to the eggs and some were hatching . I moved the clutch in a bucket and buried them in potting soil .Placed the bucket on a heating pad set to medium . Four have hatched . I moved them to a plastic tub with an inch of water and an island . Am I messing up ? The closest water source is a creek about 75 yds away and across a busy street . I plan on releasing them , maybe keep a couple as pets . I dont think they would have been able to dig themselves out of the baked clay soil and make it to the creek .

Hi Kanan!!! Love your videos!!! I have 10 eggs in my incubator... first time incubating tortoise eggs!!! I have sulcatas.... live on Oahu Hawaii. She laid.... dug up the eggs the next day put them in the incubator May 8... I had one hatch on August 8... no sign of the others hatching. My question is how long does it take to hatch, and do they all hatch about the same time? I'm worried that the rest won't hatch , but not sure if I should be worried or not!!?? Thank you!!

You can also use a wine cooler or old fridge that's died by putting a heating element in a bucket of water on bottom to heat and create humitity. Look on Google to get more info and don't just jump into it unless your confident of your knowledge that will be very helpful although trial and error is the best way of learning in my opinion with knowledge of course good luck hope this helps

I have a question please. How come when you see the videos of the baby sea turtles hatching and running down the beach to the water. They don’t have tummy sack umbilicus that you showed us which can make them teeter totter ?
@KampKenan5 жыл бұрын
You’re seeing my babies in the incubator and they are in an early stage of hatching. In the wild, they would hatch out of the egg but stay in the nest until the yolk has been absorbed. Once they have the strength usually all the babies dig out of the nest together:) that’s why you don’t see yolks with sea turtles hatching out of the nest.

Hello, I am trying to incubate tortoise egg in home made incubator. Humidity is about 75%. But I have to almost open the lid. Do you think that it is ok when the humidity is not changing and temperature is 29°c with almost opened lid. Or i should try make more holes and let it closed? I don't know what to do.

I have a red eared slider nest. The eggs are fertile and almost ready to hatch. I was candeling an egg this am to check for movement. I was holding end to end and I shined the light on the egg and it popped and a horizontal Crack appeared. Egg started leaking. I was not squeezing it at all. Does this mean its ready to hatch? The turtle moved when I shined the light and I'm pretty sure that is why it cracked. Please help...I don't want it to due. I did mot put it back in the nest. I have it in a box with dirt and set the egg on a moist paper towel.

Hey Kenan! My question regards my corn snake. He is very aggressive and is having shedding issues for about a month now. He has shed skin stuck over his nares and I’m really worried about him. Could you make a video about stuck sheds and how to remedy it?

Shockingly seemingly against all odds my sulcata just laid eggs. I didn't even think she was old enough or big enough, I have been at this house for less than a year, I have hard soil and it's becoming winter here in AZ. It's weird because the male escaped like a week ago, I wonder if that triggered her or something. Oh and I think the male was only maybe 3 years at most

Much safer for the animal!! Like example Savannah monitor those reptiles are so hard to keep alive and most people kill them within a year it's so sad!! People need to be educated on specific reptiles and the career requirements!!! Please think about this!!
