i baked this few days ago and my guest absolutely loved it and one of the comment was the caramel sauce hits you at the very end which taste absolutely amazing! I used fresh whipped cream instead of the ermine frosting used in this recipe! thank you for this amazing recipe!

Hi dear. I'm assuming the purpose of your cream is for covering cakes. For dairy cream, I find these 2 brands most stable Elle & Vire and Lescure. Unfortunately there are not many stable dairy cream brands available. Alternatively you can go for non-dairy cream which has more options. Rich, Value Pride, Milac, Golf Whip or Silver Whip. Hope this helps

I tried this on the request of my son… but it didn’t work out too well for me. I felt the cake tasted uni dimensionally sweet… But my preferences apart - the sponge turned out to be a bit dense… All in all this isn’t something for me
