Ingredients
2 cups of all - purpose flour / Maida
1/2 cup of Semolina / Rava
1/2 tsp of Salt
1/4th cup of ghee / clarified butter
1/2 cup of icing sugar / Powdered Sugar
3/4th cup of coconut milk
Oil to deep fry
Take a bowl & add 2 cups of Maida / All - Purpose Flour, 1/2 cup of Semolina / Rava, 1/2 tsp of salt. Then mix it well. Then add 1/4th cup of ghee / clarified butter. Mix it well. Then add 1/2 cup of icing sugar and continue to mix it. Then add 3/4th cup of coconut milk in batches and knead it into a dough. Cover it with a kitchen cloth and keep it aside for one hour.
Shape the Kulkuls as showed in the video.
Take a pan and add oil to deep fry. Once the oil is hot, add the kulkuls and fry it until it turns golden brown. Do not overcook it. Transfer it to a kitchen towel on a baking tray and spinkle icing sugar (Optional) on top of it.
