It's supposed to be overpowered. First weeks after release they want people to play it and learn it. If it was just one super balanced character people would just try it once and never play it again. Pretty sure that's the reason behind it. They are always trying to balance things out (underplayed legends getting buffs, and overplayed ones getting nerfs).

Characters on release are overtuned 99% of the time, but that doesnt mean thats the problem here All the newest characters for a long while now are just busted/superior in some way compared to other legends They tend to have some absurdly strong option. If you want examples, here: Loki scythe ssig, red raptor boots nsig, thea's entire sig kit but her nsig more specifically, vivi guns nsig or boots ssig, seven fire sigs (fire ssig on spear has massive coverage, damage and force, and can be quite safe), ezio orb ssig, arcadia dsigs Other legends do have some very powerful tools but its not as blatantly busted as the newer legends And ill say this in advance, imugi is unnerfable by design unless they slap a lot of recovery frames on miss, and lower force, because having 9 strength (as an option) on a greatsword with such great sigs as this, is something to not be underestimated It would be more ideal to go 4 speed which takes from defense and you still keep 8 str, but greatsword doesnt really need speed to be played Edit: old legends do tend to have strong options aswell but they are much more tame and grounded. No massive sudden hitboxes out of nowhere nor amazing absolute coverage of weapon's deadzone, and plenty of the old legends arent as powerful as the newer ones in various ways than just sigs

Imugi isn't a turtle, actually. Rather, he's based on a dragon from Korean mythology, hence the fire. I believe there's a Wikipedia page on it. Edit: I'm being told it's both, so that's probably the case

i'm gonna say this rn, imugi is by far one of the best designed legends. Ever. Both visually, but specially gameplay wise. A tank turtle with massive and powerful moves, set back only by his low speed and big recovery on his sigs. he feels like melee donkey kong, in a sense that he's a bombastic 0-death punish specialist character.
