Crystal Lake is a great band! You should also check out Prometheus or Disobey! Also, Spiritbox have a version of one of their songs with the vocalist of Crystal Lake called "Holy Roller ft. Ryo Kinoshita".

Crystal lake are a great band! Love how they have beautiful sections in some songs and then other where they have breakdowns that are just stupid heavy! A great great Japanese band!

You should check out their song Disobey. Also Ryo(the singer) does a collab with Spiritbox for a litte heavier version of Holy Roller. Good stuff. They have some newer songs that are pretty good too. Curse and Mephisto(my favorite of the 2). Also their drummer Gaku produces a great metalcore band calle Hanabie. They're definitely worth checking out as well.

i wouldn't be suprised if this was actually recorded in one take and then heavily processed in the studio - i can feel the whole vibe of the band coming out of it in a way that very few bands can . maybe it's Ryo screaming, maybe it's the drums, maybe it's some pro-studio effects, i have no idea...
