Aeon is an absolute must. Its a bit of a different side of the band and the drumming in it is just mindblowingly good.

I agree, "Aeon" is a must. "Disobey" is a must listen, but offers less to react to. "Watch Me Burn" would be a close second to Aeon, and my preference in their music style!

100%, Aeon will absolutely destroy Chase’s perception of what this band can do. Having listened to two of the more tonally metalcore tracks and then going into Aeon will be a sight to see.

If you want their absolute filthiest down right nasty heavy stuff, "Disobey" is a must along with "Aeon". If you're want some lighter or on par with this song, "Devilcry" or "Omega" are my recommendations.

Crystal Lake is a perfect example of a band that doesn't take themselves too seriously and just has a ton of fun while still making good, heavy, music with a good dose of technicality. That's actually a good way to describe the Japanese scene as a whole, honestly.

One of the best things to me about Crystal lake is that if you listen to 1 song from every album you can hear clear and massive progression on Ryo's vocal ability. One of the best growths in their specialty of any vocalist I've experienced in a bands existance.

I found Crystal Lake through the opening for an anime, Mayday by Coldrain w/ Ryo, its less heavy than Crystal Lake's stuff but still a good song. Definitely worth checking out

Tuning is Drop F (on 7 strings guitars as you mentioned) and it indeed sounds deep and i recomand you to react to AEON next with a pitch drop to D1 for the breakdown with Drop F as main tuning
