Tessah is a great ccw resource. She's clearly put a lot of thought into the subtleties of safe, effective holstering and carry. I feel like that's a really underappreciated component of the weapons *system.* Great work!

I'm glad I'm an older dude and would just tell people if asked what that is and I'll tell them it's a "colostomy bag" - thank you very much. This is a very good analysis of possibilities for a viable concealment system - take it seriously under consideration.

Social camouflage, as an older person you'll also get away with covering up things on your back with your hands while bending down, or just bending down in very unusual motions, as long as you moan and groan while doing so.

Best video I've seen to date on CCW for not only women. I've been carrying for about 30 yrs. and my setup now is close to what she is suggesting here. I wear it appendix position just to the right of center. I would suggest a holster with a leather backing that covers the top of the slide from being against your skin because of sweat unless you wear a t-shirt. I'm 80 yrs old and have a belly sticking out some. I wear jeans that are relaxed fit with expandable waist to give more room for the holster. I also use a Kore belt that has fast and easy adjustment. Thanks for a great video!!!

So here are my thoughts on all this, comfort to me is the most important thing. If it’s not comfortable you aren’t going to carry it. Obviously you don’t want to print a lot think about how much people don’t pay attention to their surroundings. Most people won’t notice you are open carrying let alone if it’s printing little bit concealed. I carry a full size gun, a Springfield prodigy. It’s a large gun, and I actually conceal it really well, but it prints ever so slightly if I wear a little bit of a tighter shirt. I pay attention to people a lot and I’ve never met someone’s eyes and noticed that they looked down at the area where my gun is. So yea, I think personally comfort is more important than anything. With that said, open carry is the most comfortable way to carry, but I think open carrying is a stupid way to paint a target on your back. So it’s a balancing act

I have found holsters that keep the gun completely off your skin are the best. I like N82 holsters for that reason, no part of the gun touches you. I do think worrying about printing is something people worry about too much. You obviously dont want a skin tight shirt on but as long as the shirt is a little loose you should be ok.

Langdon would love to train with you someday. Thanks. Ernest have you played with HK LEM Trigger wonder your thoughts on it, or how good can an HK DA/SA be made to make DA pull better, when that can all be accomplished on Beretta with just a couple springs/parts or your full shabang? What about Grand Power DA/SA pistols thoughts? A Vid on OTHER than Beretta/Springfield DA/SA pistols would be nice. Would a 92GR Centurion (if could ever find for reasonable price) be the best modern one to start with for a Bigger guy but to get a bit less weight? Thank you all

I recommend testing a new holster with a weighted blue gun for a day before carrying regularly. Its expensive to buy a new weighted blue gun every time your carry piece changes, but the lessons are worth it. You can make non-lethal mistakes.

Way too strict on printing. All those set-ups were concealing just fine. In the beginning, people worry too much about printing. The public is not looking for that and is not aware. If someone is staring at your body that intently, you already have problems.

Had I been the taller girl, I would have checked the firearm that the shorter girl handed me and ensured it was clear. I don’t care if she just did it in front of me - I STILL would check for myself. Checking for live ammunition is just a good practice and there is always time for that. It literally would have taken her about 4-5 seconds to rack the slide, check the chamber and ensure the magazine well was clear.

why all the fuss and muss, CC is hiding a gun on your body, nix your high cap semi auto, one in chamber? extra mag? any holster means you have to hide it also. Air weight hammerless snubby 38 in a bellyband when not in car, when in car tuck within reach, now someone said they could pull the trigger if they push their finger hard enough through belly band material to pull the trigger so if you have a suicidal roving finger you need a finger shrink consultation. Perfect POCKET carry gun and in REALITY if you can`t stop the threat with 5 you best be hauling ass.

My 2 cents on CC. If one insists on CC...females have an advantage...most carry big bags or a pruse levaing the home. There are bags and purses made with hidden/quick-access compartments for gun/holsters. Some girls/women wear skirts....thigh holster. Both giving full range of motion. More so carrying "off body". Having said that....I honestly don't think civilians should "carry". Must that do naively think they'll jump into action and save the day. Odds will usually be against us. Situations will resemble SWAT calls where TEAMS b show up and respond. Rarely will it be a one in one. And we'll likely be caught off guard. Have never been in a life/death situation. Be like putting a 2 nights a week karate student suddenly in a street fight.

.."off body a severe disadvantages of need it in a hurry"? Debatable. If seconds count and you can draw without snagging clothing. And have time to react. Usually the bad guys will have the jump. I was in a life threatening situation and swat was so far away that it would have never helped me. Btw it was one on one. The best response time you will get is probably 4 minutes I was just talking to an officer and he said that 12 to 15 minutes was the response time for a certain location. And that’s not swat and it’s we’ll within city limits just off the freeway. There are over 200,000 defensive use of fire arms, by law abiding citizens each year. So people are using guns to protect themselves daily also I know personally several people who have been involved in altercations and needed firearms both cases were one on one. On another note criminals at a rate of 64 percent say they won’t attack a victim if they think they might be armed. The most common is one on one. The second most common is a driver/bag man or door holder as the second man. If your saying you think law abiding citizens shouldn’t be given the chance to defend themselves then that is contrary to the constitution and the basic laws of nature. Every animal has its home and will defend itself if cornered. I lived in the country and have experience that frequently. I have seen to much of life to not know give yourself the best options you can. If you want to limit your options, that of course is your prerogative. Just don’t try to force your ideas on others. My two brothers are in law enforcement and I have several friends in law enforcement all of them advocate for ccw.

I dont recommend purse carry. Often the purse is usually the target, and fighting over a purse also becomes fighting over your gun. That said, a gun in your purse is still a couple seconds away while a gun from a cop is minutes away. I would prefer purse carry to no carry! The enigma holster is really good for women though, it's independent of any pants.
