Something worth mentioning about Ryoshu's fourth match flame. So, the corrosion has this effect: [Failed kill] gain 3 attack power up and 10 burn next turn. And because it gets 3 attack weight, it means if you don't kill 3 targets with it, you will get 9(!) attack power up and 30 burn on self next turn. At least I think that's how it should work, I don't have it on tier 4 myself.

as for hex nail getting nails; it's surprisingly extremely relavent in my current envy team, and it probably will be in the future. The grand majority of envy units have bleed potency, but relatively little bleed count. Nails helps with that, albeit not by much, it still counts for something, especially when nfaust is a nails unit that fits in envy teams.

Imo, Regret UT4 is a solid upgrade. The extra status cleanse helped out a lot in some of my MD runs. You can essentially pull off some wacky strats like crippling the enemy with Chains of Others, then cleansing the attack power down on you next turn with Regret and steamroll clashes. It primarily targets the leftmost negative status so at UT 3, it would only be cleansing the Bind from CoS but at UT 4 it gets rid of both debuffs provided you don't have any additional statuses applied on you. I'd rate it at a high C.

You pointing out the After Hit change to Telepole Faust instantly made me join the "Telepole Don has it too good" thing. Speaking as someone whose favorite E.G.O *is* Telepole Faust (My first U4 in the game for that matter), I wish sincerely it kept its effect to at least be a somewhat better debate choice against Fluid Sac regarding Charge compositions because of jusy how overwhelmingly good the latter is in just about any team. I know I'm biased, I *am* Team Faust, and I know ultimately I roll with what E.G.O I feel like, just it's hard to ignore the tough pickings. A side thing too I have regarding that was durinf Railway 2, again with Charge comps; the Charge buffs would kind of make Telepole Don redundant, but the passive on Faust's alongside not having to compete with Rime Shank made it a genuine good option to roll with from my experience, even if I wouldn't have the on-demand heals or SP refresh.

Regret's UT4 is amazing in the context of a proper team. The best setup for Tremor right now is to hybrid Tremor/Sinking with Molar Boatworks Ishmael acting a hybrid unit. Tremor fades very slowly, and will naturally be accrued with a dedicated Tremor team. Rime Shank has both Tremor Burst and massive amounts of Sinking. Regret's Awakening already applies ample Tremor Count and it becomes very easy to accrue MASSIVE amounts of both Sinking and Tremor on targets. Once the target is staggered, Regret Overclock starts exploding people, as it doesn't sabotage your Sinking count to fire it off, and even its awakening burns like hell. It is VERY easy to have giant Tremor numbers on tankier targets when running a Tremor ID, and running some Tremor. Consider something like Dieci Rodion, Spicebush Yi Sang, Molar BW Ishmael, Regret Faust, Rosespanner Meursault, Molar Office Outis. We rack up a ton of sinking and Tremor, with Tremor Count being basically free for this team, then collapse the stacks of both for huge damage. The main problem is just lacking a 000 Sault with either Tremor or Sinking access.

Id honestly make a case for chains of others. The important thing is that it means meursault is potentially still availible to clash after chains of others. And i know, "Your having clashing problems? After chains of others?" But many fights are dependant on redirecting attacks as attacks have different gimmicks to them. Having 1 less unit available to clash with can make a turn much worse.

You'd be surprised at how often I hit lust ABS resonance in daily luxcavations. Envy, Lust and Pride days all encourage me to bring lust heavy teams, so it's quite plausible to line it all up. But I don't feel like the +1 atk weight is worth it, because those are focused encounters with a low number of targets to chase.

Crow's Eye View at tier 4 does have a synergy with its effects of giving bind and haste with Cinq. Assotiation Don's Passive, both combat and support. The greater the difference is in speed, the more damage Don (in battle) / the fastest ally (out of battle) will do.

I know it is a bit late, but I think Meursault's Ego is actually pretty good as a support ability. When I didn't have the Bone Claimer, I was spamming the Ego to actually be able to harm Kim.

the reason I would put fluid sac at S tier is because of how it enables ego spam on bosses. It mitigates sanity cost and loss from your other IDs and becomes the sole enabler for a full team ego spam. Without faust's fluid sac basically all your sinners would corrode by the second or third turn and/or fail their clashes. With Fluid sac mitigating sanity loss it allows for more consistency and is irreplaceable by any other egos. TL;DR- fluid sac is invaluable against bosses when you need to be using high sp cost egos to clash against bosses. without the sp loss mitigation, high clashing becomes inconsistent when even one lost clash could mean drastic consequences.

Abother interesting thing about 4th match flame for Ryoshu. Corossion gives her 10 burn and 4 strength on the failrd kill, and failing to kill 3 tatgets will result to giving her whooping 12 straight, with wich she can outclash everything

Something you did not point out with Ryoshu's fmf is her corrosion. Because her attack is now an AoE, she can gain up to 9 Attack Power Up!!! This makes skills like Leap on W Ryoshu roll up to 40! Which is EXTREMELY HUGE. The ego is already in S but she doesn't need a burn ID at all to make the ego better. It's insanely power.

About Regret: Having 2 remove is a great condition in MD in abno fights or inquisitors, since it was on Mersault, he tanks, takes a lot of damage and takes more then 1 unnecessary effect, like bleed, nails, bind etc. It helps to be more efficient as possible in removing RNG factor if you fight against like Kromer or Fairy long legs. It helps, but not as much. C tier or B tier, not bad, but not like must have

4 months late, but meursault's base shouldn't be in bottom tier. The attack power down change is negligible, yeah, but the protection you can gain from it now is guaranteed instead of being 95%. You can actually use him as a tank and get 5 protection instead of 3 with his base now.

9:2 Faust works really well on a Liu team with her N corp ID there to support the secret member of Liu, N corp Sinclair who also has 9:2 originally I thought of N corp however N corp Meursault just had to be different and have no lust so the burn team wants the burn EGO and I’d assume once Faust gains a Liu ID she can get much more use out of 9:2

I feel you undervalue the tremor burst on hit rather than Heads Hit for Rodion Effervescent Corrosion. Her passive activates Rose Rodions passive giving her Blunt Damage up. Getting that as a guarantee is actually a big deal if you're using her on Rosedion, and if you aren't, you should probably already be using Rime Shank instead.

On the case of Dimension Shredder Hong Lu, solo Korp Hong Lu I would also take into consideration. It's niche, but it's in my opinion the easiest way to beat MD2H when the final boss isn't Kromer or My Form Empties, maybe Brazen Bull too. It is also the quickest for me at least. A large part of that is due to that threadspin, as the increase in attack weight leads to most normal battles against Norp actually being manageable. Additionally with corrosion being active on a solo unit, there are times where Dimension Shredder can be used up to six times in one turn in my experience. Thats a lot of damage, and is one of the main reasons solo Korp is viable.

Honestly. I really love 9:2 Sinclair just because of the massive sanity loss. Now here me out. Sinclair is the special case solely because of having the only viable (of 2) negative coin IDs and having only one actually viable ID... yes ofc NClair. Everyone will use NClair, and ofc he can synergize with the N team, especially N Faust. Whistles is wonderful, but for the longest time, NFaust ended up being a gamble of either hurting NClair 90% of the time with insane sp gain or getting nails and value for the rest of the team. With 9:2, Sinclair has an easily fueled 45 sp loss ego with no drawbacks like Corroding Impending day. On top of also synergizing naturally with burn and a negative coin awakening, 9:2 makes NClair that much stronger and reliable since you can now proc Whistles like a madman, and if NClair is gaining too much sanity, just press the funny corrosion burn ego and he's back to losing his mind. Easily the best value ego in the whole BP aside from ig the main waw ego, but it's a close race imo just for how much value NClair gets from this ego

So basically Red Eyes (Closed) sets Ryoshu up for better using Red Eyes (Open) - it gives the enemy 3 Bind next turn, which procs Open's effect On 3 Bind, and the Bind also maked the enemy slower, possibly making them Slower Than Ryoshu At Least By 3. Oh, and it makes them more Fragile to boot, as if Ryoshu needed any extra help in disassembling the opponent into base components. Basically, use Red Eyes as a one-two combo - it'll eat through Ryoshu's SP, but it'll be worth it.

I'll argue that Hex Nail should be A Tier. The reason is that on Envy team it now replaces a faust attack with essentially a free ego and a huge chunk of damage. Given that it applies curse as well means you're getting a lot of additional bonus from it. Yeah, it's not a nuke in how other Ego's are set up, but on an envy team you will get SO much envy that you're essentially just using it for free and to win clashes and apply that debuff at the start and then keep pounding them for additional damage.
