You managed to make a full tutorial on how to use Egoist, that is shorter than Sugar Bytes own vids all together. Brilliant! :)

This App from the German Code Masters "sugarbytes" is really cool...like all Apps and Plugins. Yes okay a PEN is recommended, and yes there minor issues in the "button detections field" when using a pen, so then i move sometime the whole window not the butto i want to move...cant belive...its 6 years old?

Thanks a MILLION Doug - great walkthru that highlights the good and bad points of Egoist! I love the SugarBytes stuff and am chuffed its available on iOS. Ive seen it unfavourably compared to a fully expanded Gadget but I have to say it looks like a fully fleshed out beat/groove tool! One Im gonna grab ASAP!

Good tutorial, BUT drums are not the way to demonstrate this software. It´s for samples and has it´s own drum track. And if you run the samples to the drum track, the shifting of forward and backward and up and down makes sense because it shifts the slices in proportion to the beat.

Great demo, Doug! I have contacted them about the graphical lag between looping steps 1-4

Bought this last night on a whim after watching part of your video. This thing is amazing and at times absolutely hilarious. I'm in the airport lounge trying hard not to laugh out loud at some of the stuff I'm coming up with. Love the loops in the group called "Nadine"!
