At the same time that he doesn't skip 90% of the build, he doesn't make 5 30 minute videos for something that can be done in 1 or 2 10-20 minutes videos. Also, he actually does all the stuff his cars need, most car youtubers have professional mechanics that do everything for them and they just say what the mechanic did, nothing against them doing it, but it's pretty boring.

You can put a girdle in any b series block. So if you wanted to fully build this one you still could. Just get the girdle and put it in this block. You can go aftermarket or even use the oem one but if you use a oem gsr girdle you have to modify it so i would just go aftermarket.

LS Vtecs are super fun and pretty simple! Plus a well built LS Vtec is gonna make more than a GSR. I only did a stock LS Vtec (Stock b18b1 block, ARP head studs, B16a p3 head, Hondata s300 ECU) and it pulls clean and hard. Simple fun build that gets a good bang for your buck.

Also Robbie the valve cover port you said is broken needs to be clogged shut if you use that valve cover, that is a b20b4 valve cover on a b18b head (they're different) and that valve cover won't even fit a VTEC head if you're swapping it

Hey robbie. If the d15b was originally in the civic, you own an eg4 (motorcode) ... if you look for bits and pieces that are missing with the parts you have, check out the eg6 ... that model came with a b16 engine and all engine mounts and etc should fit like lego on any other b-engines. Robbie, this is kinda funny, me and you are pretty much going to have the same car. 93 EG SI with an LS/Vtec swap. I have a full turbo kit ready to bolt on but want to see how the car is all motor for a few months. I’ve had the car for 3 years and have learned a lot. I’ve done a whole gsr leather interior swap with the integra dashboard and type r cluster. Swapped the motor from d series to b series. To finish it off I painted the whole car with a two tone paint job, viper blue off of a 07 Dodge Viper and black. I live in Toronto Ontario, would love to meet you in person and talk about Honda if you want to know anything!
