Very interestingly, the chariot was introduced to Egypt via the Hyksos and much of the material required to construct a chariot had to come from either Armenia or north of the black sea, as young green spruce, hard wood, and soft wood were all required in its construction. It is likely why ancient records show chariots as insanely expensive war items as it's very likely that around the 2000 BCs the majority of chariots and horses had to be imported. It was like having an apache helicopter on the battlefield.

Спасибо автору . По этому ролику видно : правы военные историки , утверждающие - колесницы никогда не атаковали в лоб плотный строй пехоты . Они встали , задние упёрлись в передних , и коней начали резать , как на бойне ... Эффективней катиться вдоль строя противника закидывая его дротиками и стрелами . Прокатившись , уйти в сторону , пропустив свою пехоту .
