I have the juwel surface skimmer on my reef tank and it fits perfectly with the internal filter

I was fortunate enough to find an API filter that has a built in skimmer that i think was discontinued and on clearance. It helps a lot.

Dear Discus Keeper: £30.00 is $37.75. That seems quite expensive. However, I see that it does a terrific job. I look forward to seeing what you do with this tank. A dark substrate will look much nicer when covered with algae. I have a similar regret with my, shrimp tank. I failed to rid all of the plants of snails before putting them in the tank. The tank is over-run with two species of snails. I hope to get rid of many by sinking cucumber slices, on a small fork, attached to fishing line, in the tank and then lifting the snails off when they go for it. I may purchase some assassin snails (Clea helena), but I doubt they would go after the smaller species in my tank, which appears to have a flat shell, similar to a limpet. E. J. Brinegar it’s wasn’t cheap but this tank was 1200 pounds if it keeps it still in my living room I would be very very happy 😬👍🏻

Go salt water mate! I’ve had a bad film on the surface of my discus tank since using stendker good heart colour. I never used to get it on the original one.

Hi, I bought a used 350 and the plastic base that goes around doesn't have any supporting bar going across in the middle of the base. Is that the same with your tank?
