Its nothing to do with the strap. A lot of baseball hats are one size only so on some people they are too deep and go over your ears, which it shouldn't do.

Don't do this... Just wear it in the shower like he said, but don't stick your head directly in the water. Wear it for 10-15 min after your shower, and once its formed to your head it should feel a little wet. Then Put in in the Dryer on the last setting should be "Damp Dry" And then your hat will be perfect. Guaranteed!

did not work i have a 100% polyester fitted cap from new era its a 7 5/8 and i should be wearing a 7 1/4 any suggestions to how i should shrink it??

+Richard Martinez it will make the bill flimsy what I would do is run it under a sink faucet with hot water holding it by the bill so it won't get wet then wear it till it drys and it will do two things fit the hat to your head and it will take the high crown out

Sorry, Anglo fuck boi. But you wore goofy baseball caps since the modern cap became widespread. In Latin America, where Hats in general derived from in case you weren't aware of it, were worn and shaped differently according to the person. In the roaring 20's the Chicanos from California were experimenting with hats in general as fashion accessories and one of those hats were the baseball caps. Long before it was Anglo thing in Cali, son,.. It was a Latin thing dating back to Mallorca, Spain. Cubans shipped a lot of their caps to the States through out the earl 1900's as well. In the 1970's minorities predominant Latins/Brothers took the cap to a different level and became a fashion symbol that would ignite the skaters, good ass Anglos in the burbs, and ,any others. Don't take credit for sht you had no part of, Anglo fck boi. To this day, you guys look ridiculous wearing caps in general. Anglo fck bois wearing fitted ormsnapbacks is just lame.
