Did you guys ever go beyond bolt ons and go into the motor? I’d love to see a dyno progression with motor mods on a 2019-20 Kodiak or Grizzly 700.

What’s the torque specs on the 686 vs 708? Can’t seem to find it anywhere

Any more progress with this rig? I have the exact kodiak 700 have clutxh kit and 29s would love to get more power but no one offers anything engine wise for the 708
@jameskeith674 жыл бұрын
Rear tires look way taller than stock, this cuts down on power delivery to the ground

So clearly these guys don't believe in the Yamaha recommended break in. LOL. Be interesting to hear their thoughts on it.
@kevincreech73453 жыл бұрын
I was just thinking that
@stephencostello14836 жыл бұрын
Well since no one's going to ask I will what kind of tires do you have on the kodiak rear ? Might sound dumb but I like the looks of it and since I'm looking to buy A grizzly 700 I might just do that look I appreciate your video thanks .

So what settings on the optimizer are u running once u put on the aftermarket exhaust?
@A-A-ron-aka-big-big6 жыл бұрын
I was going to ask if the grizzly and Kodiak can interchange parts like this but since you did the weights and all im assuming you can make a Kodiak have to throttle response that a grizzly has I have a kodiak I would like to make it drive like a grizzly ( put grizzly clutch kit and all that good stuff in it )
@hatchet1576 жыл бұрын
Aaron S the only difference performance wise from grizz to kodiak are the clutch weights and they are interchangeable
@ginochipchip7 жыл бұрын
great work thanks g

I wish we could get the same performance without the exhaust being so loud

No it's cheaper to get Kodiak and modify vs grizz and modify

what was the cost for all the time and parts on this atv.? Would it be just as affordable to simply buy the Grizz instead of the Kodiak w/mods??

I thought the stock Yamaha 708cc motor is claimed to be 48hp stock? The runs at the beginning seem 12+ HP low? I must be missing something...

Because the number of camshafts doesn’t really matter how much power the engine makes? It’s all about design.

Part of being a mechanic or watching a video about machinery is to not be distracted. I cannot watch this video or work in a shop where another tech insists on loud music on all day.. Good mechanics use tools and devices (dynos, etc) of their senses to see,smell, hear and feel a repair work. Hence the road test . Hotel California was too much . Thumbs down. I'm checking out. Bye

The 708 definitely makes more power than the 686. Disappointing.
