The tuner and airbox makes sense to make motor happier and run properly, you gain 2-3 hp also which is nice. The exhaust and especially the duals is completely useless.. 500-800 for exhaust when it adds 1-1.5 hp is not noticeable and completely useless. Plus the grizzly idles soo damn high all the time it is loud always, even with quiet core in.. everyone out there skip the exhaust always… use your money on a winch and skid-plates or something that protects the bike and helps you in other areas.

Never could figure out why the stock brute 750's rated at 49hp on efi models feel SO MUCH faster than the 700 grizz rated at 50hp? Would that airbox work well with the mapping without the lid cut?
@ATVScene Жыл бұрын
I don't think it would perform as well. I think without the hole in the lid it wouldn't be able to gulp more air, which is the main ingredient in making more power. The outerwear is very durable and basically repels water... but I probably should have dipped it in water to see how waterproof it really is. This is a good question though. If you plan on doing a lot of river crossings I don't blame you for not wanting to do this.. If so, I bet Eric has a solution for you - maybe a bigger air intake tube?? You might hit him up and ask. Report back here if you find a more water-proof system. Thanks!
