EI Live | A data driven approach for a safer global offshore wind industry

The G+ is the global health and safety organisation bringing together the offshore wind industry. Safety performance data is the core of the G+’s work programme, informing the development of guidelines and safe-by-design reports for the industry, and enabling the sharing of lessons learnt.
In 2023, we saw the offshore industry growing, with hours worked going from 44.6 million hours in 2022 to a new high of 61.9 million hours in 2023. With the rise in activity has come an increase in the number of incidents reported, with flat Total Recordable and Lost Time Incident rates.
During this webinar G+ Data Champion Frances Kelsall (Iberdrola) will take us through the data programme, historical trends and 2023 data. G+ Europe Focal Group Chair Garry Bradford (EDF Renouvables) will then explore how we move from data to actions that ultimately impact our frontline workers.
