EI to CPSE to CSE - Creating the First IEP for a School-Aged Child

The transition from preschool special education (CPSE) to school aged special education (CSE) may invoke feelings of confusion and anxiety. At this training, we will cover the key differences between CPSE and CSE and what documentation is needed during this transition. We will also explain the criteria for identifying the student’s disability, the necessary supports for the school year, and what to expect when creating and monitoring the student’s first school aged Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
