Eiffel Tower Elevator Ride

This is a footage of the ride up on the Eiffel Tower's elevator. It's consisted of two separate elevators: the first one gets you either to first or second floor, on the first floor there's a restaurant. For those who want to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower, they need to switch to a second elevator that brings you to the top.
In my opinion, on the second floor there's much more to see and it's more seeable because there's no fencing and nothing blocks your view. On the top there's a crisscrossed fence which blocks your view, you can't take a picture or a shoot a video and it pretty much ruins the experience.

I remember taking this exact elevator as a 10 year old kid and absolutely hating it. I had, and still have a fear of heights. All I can remember is laying on the floor and doing everything possible to not look outside lol. I think I would still be sick today if I took it.

From the top looking out, you really can tell that Washington DC really was inspired so much by the design of Paris. It's actually uncanny. When I saw a glimpse of it, my first thought was "That looks like Washington" haha

Walked up those stairs and taken the centre elevator to the top...brilliant view...a feat of engineering...at the top you can look over the edge and see the curvature of the legs...it does slightly sway at the top...

The view is beautiful up the Eiffel Tower first i take the stairs to the middle then take elevator to top it’s beautiful view but crowd lots of people and lineup two hours. It’s worth it

This is ironically one of the most underrated landmarks in Paris - everyone expects it to be soo overrated and then they are shocked it's not. (I also recommend taking elevator to the top, and go down by the stairs from the 2nd level, if you are masochistic you can do it in reverse order)

The Eiffel Tower elevators are 1890 Otis Roped Hydraulic (elevator to 2nd Floor) and Otis Traction (elevator to the top floor)

I'm afraid of heights, and I got a little nervous looking out the windows and down on the city, but it wasn't too bad. For the most part, it's just like being on the top floor of a building. You only see down when you intentionally go to the edge and look down.
