The scariest thing I heard in this story has got to be "vending machine chili". Never, ever, in My wildest dreams. Y'all stay vigilant! Salute

😅I Have to say the vending machine chili Stood out to me too!!! That phrase cringe worthy, Never seemed quite so fitting as I think I Did just that. I heard this as I went about chores in the kitchen at the time Salute!

I had to listen to the 'vending machine chilli', part twice. Jordan sure does know how to bring on the fright.

Every narrator has their own flavor of stories they like to read. Grupe seems to gravitate toward stories with food humor.🤣

I was thinking the same thing about my stories recently, a lot of them have food in them. It's like I must be hungry while I'm writing these or something.

I clean the house while listening to the long stories. Long stories allow me to concentrate on my cleaning and not try to find another story.

you know, come to think of it this first story is the first time I've ever seen one of these stories about a nursing home told from the perspective of one of the residents, usually they're just told from the perspective of a staff member complaining about some creepy old person or whatever

It’s always a nice name for the facility I work at Heritage Park. The place is locked. Alzheimer’s and dementia care. I love it because you can be hated right now and an hour later they’ll love you. I laugh every time I tell one lady see you tomorrow at bedtime, she answers back “maybe.” We will see. I can’t help but to laugh. They put the men with the women in this place. We have people who roam daily in and out of other people’s rooms. The residents can’t stand one of them because she just doesn’t care she takes stuff and I saw one resident try to choke her out with oxygen tubing 😂e we stopped it but that woman if she had the strength would’ve hurt her. Every day is hilarious and I love those people ❤

I’m a little confused part way into the second story, the one where the guy comes to work in the castle. He has just met Jeffrey in the basement area and then suddenly he was just arriving (again), and Jeffrey was taking his bags? Why was he suddenly afraid of the water and shaking Jeffrey and demanding to get off the island? And then he had been there awhile and had been taking care of the girls? I’m confused…

Oh god...Gwendolyn's first visit was enough to give me a terrible pit in my stomach. Greasy fingers on the books, setting things down wrong, talking with her mouth full? As someone with ADHD and OCD I'd flippin LOSE IT. Well, I would inwardly at least. I'd politely ask her to not touch my things, but those types who don't respect your stuff or other boundaries are generally the first to snap back if you ask them to please stop, no matter how politely. I know the story will get worse, but to me this part is what's terrifying!

Why would a nursing home have a man and a woman as roommates in a small little room?
@janetangelezyii45747 ай бұрын
I thought the same thing.. Then I said, " Well, just because you're old(er)😊 doesn't mean you can not groove. " 😂😂😂. Maybe the home is progressive...I am 60, sooooo!!! 😊😊😊
