No auto tune no clap track.... Just melody and talent...
@vicmizzy30003 ай бұрын
With all due respect, I think that you may have been meaning to say “no click track”, as opposed to “no clap track”. This record, in common with almost all “commercial” pop/rock records made at that time, were nothing BUT click tracks, drum machines, lots of other electronic stuff, synthesizers/sequencers, lots of programming of drum machines, and all synchronized together by a Central time source courtesy of a musical technology called MIDI which enabled EVERYTHING to “talk” to each other, and through that, the whole thing was done to a click, drum machines, etc. There would also be a human drummer being recorded, playing along to all of that with a real drum kit to all of the sequenced stuff, and then they’re blended together for the record. Real live guitars played by the human guitar player were recorded to tape, and synchronized with everything else, along with electronically sequenced keyboards (using MIDI), some keyboard parts being played live in the studio, and, of course, all of the vocals recorded in the studio. Again, all due respect, it’s a great band and they made a great record, and it has its organic qualities, and especially because they wrote some good songs. But they definitely used tons and tons of modern cutting edge technology with lots of drum machines and click tracks and you name it , but the fact that you (and me) really love the song proves that it doesn’t matter how a record is made if the music moves you!

Lifeline, I wonder how you last so long, You must be strong, When I see the flowers in your hair, And the pretty mouth with the red you adorn, When you get close, Ah danger senses please beware, it's so unfair That I'm paying such a heavy price, By looking at the garments, that you wear so well (Chorus) I won't kiss you if you want me to, It's much too easy with someone like you, In the rain or a winters night, Just wouldn't do, it's got to be so right, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, I'll kiss you then and only then, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, Fine line, that's what I'm walking when I look at you, You know it's true Of all things the thing that I want most, To catch you at the point where you don't have a clue. (Chorus) I won't kiss you if you want me to, It's much too easy with someone like you, In the rain or a winters night, Just wouldn't do, it's got to be so right, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, I'll kiss you then and only then, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, I'll kiss you once, but never again... (Chorus) I won't kiss you if you want me to, It's much too easy with someone like you, In the rain or a winters night, Just wouldn't do, it's got to be so right, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, I'll kiss you then and only then, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, I'll kiss you then and only then, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, Senses beware (Back vocals) I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, I'll kiss you then and only then, I'll kiss you when it's dangerous, Senses beware (Back vocals)
