Hi, and sorry for disturbing. But, about the Eighteeth E-xtreme, what do you think about it? What is your opinion, regarding its durability? Would it be a good idea to buy one, giving the fact that it is using a 800 mAh battery, and brushed motor?

the accessory clips and cables used for the apical locator are of poor quality. maybe changing that the locator can work again..

@@RafaelMichiels nope doesn’t help. Tried this. Remarkable to hear that I encounter the exact same flaws: 1. Apex locator broke down after 3months 2. Base station for charging is shit Other then that great motor but I like prepping while monitoring length electronically so the broken build in apexfinder is a big drawback for me. Grtz!

What do you mean exactly by the apexlocator breaking after a few months? Does it still measure depth just not as correctly, or does it not measure at all? Thanks for the video! :)

Yes, it did broke down. Not working anymore. We found out it was not the locator itself, but rather the cable.

If not using the built in apex locator then why bother with this? I also have eighteeth e connect pro with seperate apex locator. Same motor but les complications

We used the built in apex locator for a while and would think it could be handy, however we went back to our preferred way of working. Sometimes it's down to "why fix it if it ain't broken?"

Totally disagree with u,it works perfectly well.

I am not saying it is a bad device. On the contrary, I really like it. However there are some minor things that don't work perfectly. I would say, I give it a 9 out of 10.
