Lived in the UK all my life. I've always had a soft spot for Ireland in Eurovision. My father was from Co Cavan and I never knew him as he died when I was 14 months old. I remember watching this LIVE back in 1996 and to this day this is still the greatest Eurovision song ever made (in my opinion of course) It is a very pure magical song and I always smile when hearing it

I was 13 in 1996 when i was seeing the contest , as a Breton girl i wanted to see Dan Ar Braz (breton musician) representing France .... When i saw Eimear Quinn with this song, i knew she went to win... i was so impressed with her ! Then, she came to Britanny (Quimper) with Anúna on the summer, a few months after Oslo, and she sang Dan Ar Braz song « Diwannit bugale ». So kind !
