Theophil Heinke ist Kirchenmusikdirektor und kennt die Trost-Orgel noch vor ihrer Restauration 1998. Während der Aufnahmen zu meinem Bach-Projekt hat er die Orgel aufgeschlossen und uns ins Innere geführt.

Please, this wonderful instrument, in this wonderful site and with this beautiful acoustics offers a complete tonal an timbrical palette for an autentic, “philological” Bach organ integrale, all in a single instrument with an authentic “Thuringia sound”. You Tube gave a great contribution for rediscovering this “hidden” treasure as THE BACH ORGAN, much more than Naumburg’s one ore the Silbermanns...So we want more Bach on this organ! Mr. J.A. Stamm, mr. Olivier Latry, mr. Halubeck: it’s time for a blu-ray Bach complete edition, for a you tube edition, for a Netflix edition or what a f. you want. Helmuth Walcha, Karl Richter, Marie-Claire Alain didn’t have these middle german organs, restored, at their disposition. I’m speaking to Thuringian politicians: this should be territorial marketing, “product placement”...

Why much more than Naumburg? Bach was literally involved in the design of that one! (and well, better acoustics/physically easier to play there)

Joannes Couchet because very few remains from the Hildebrandt organ

@@andreacosta74 I'd only partly agree with you, only most of the upperwork and reeds are new. Maybe around 15% less complete than the Trost organ (70% original), but unfair to say "very few remains", especially considering that there are also other Hildebrandt organ around that can serve as reconstruction models. And old pipes doesn't necessarily mean original sound - think of the Müller in Haarlem, for instance, or on the flip side the Göteborg Schnitger reconstruction :)

Wertvolle und aufschlussreiche Einblicke in eine meiner Lieblingsorgeln, ein einziger großer Klangfarbenkasten! Nunja, so außergewöhnlich ist die Mensur der Traversflöte nicht, sie ist im Grunde nichts weiter als eine überblasende Gamba. Joa, im wahrsten Sinne 'erschöpfte' Kalkanten. ;)
