Of course not. For accuracy, look at the comic strip The Far Side. "According to friends from his early years, Einstein trained for a career in basketball until a knee injury sidelined him, forcing him to look at his side hobby, physics".

A wonderful movie - and of course, the guy playing his Dad here is one of Australia's music legends, (Ian) Peewee Wilson from the Delltones, a band that started in 1958, that is still performing!

@Vlad Tepes, can you remind me what the quote was from the actual Albert Einstein at the end of the movie after he finished The Rock N Rollin Music? I rented the movie from Google play and it looks awesome on digital media however the quote is missing at the end of the movie.

@trishawalsh78326 ай бұрын
Yes, I like that scene too! The girl with the black curly hair played Marie Curie, Einstein's girlfriend, but the screaming fan and gets smacked is Lulu Pinkus, and she's the one who marry Yahoo Serious!

Unaccredited invention of Albert was the daggy dad dancing, many have speculated its true origins however studies have recently found that post colonial Tasmania was where there uncharacteristic, less savory and off-beat moves were invented. Some speculate with (and attribute) the invention of splitting of the beer atom. However correlation is yet to be confirmed to this day.

Does anyone who has this movie on VHS or dvd have the quote that Albert Einstein said after this song? I rented the movie on Google play and for some reason the quote is missing. Instead the film goes to a black screen while continuing the background music and then jumps to credits.

After watching this movie for the very first time, I developed the world's biggest ❤ crush on Yahoo Serious-which, of course, was viewed on VHS, 'cuz after all, it was the late 80s and I was like 12! 😏 Every single time I'd babysit at my uncle's house, I remember rewatching this movie-I must've watched it a million times! 😅 When I got much older, I looked for this movie to watch with my kids on our movie nights. We've watched all the 80s greats, like Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Legend of Billie Jean, Goonies, and Stand By Me-but I just never could find Young Einstein! 😖 My youngest two are now in their 20s. And my oldest is in his 30s-he just became a first-time parent himself last year. Damn, where did all that time go? 🤷🏼😵💫💔
