This is the most instructive video on resin casting that I've ever seen. Well done!

Very nice and really appreciated! I am learning a lot! Do you mind showing your Hydro resin brand and where can you buy in USA? Thanks
@EirikArnesenArt5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Sadly there is no branding on the containers! But if you're in the US, get Aqua-Resin (from the company Aqua-Resin). It's pretty much the same except better than what I'm using, I have experience with both. You can get it at The Compleat Sculptor in New York. There should be a link in the description below the video.

Great tutorial Eirik, however I'm a little concerned for your health after watching the section with the Dremel, the dust from that cleaning process will be very bad for your lungs, so please wear the correct PPE when completing this process to avoid chronic lung disease (silicosis) later in your life.

Thank you! I do wear one now!

What kind of resin is this
@EirikArnesenArt3 жыл бұрын
It's Hydro-Resin. Similar to Jesmonite or Aqua-Resin.

Another awesome Video, so interesting. I’ve never used powered resin. Is it as strong as traditional urethane resin?
@EirikArnesenArt5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! No I doubt it is as strong as traditional urethane and epoxy resin. But it's non toxic and can be cleaned up with water! And it is plenty strong enough!

Eirik Arnesen Art The powered resin seems like a good idea for a mother mold. Thanks dude!!!
