Hi! It’s great to hear that you don’t have endometriosis. Even though I know you wouldn’t choose the diagnosis (adeno….), it’s good to have clarity about the situation. I’m SO glad that they were thorough and found the issue with your fallopian tubes in advance of any problem that could have resulted. I’m THRILLED that your pressure sore has recovered as much as it has. How well I remember the time when you could be up for such short periods of time. I think of your husband (I can never remember how to spell his name), his Mom, your Mom and Thor often. I know that your birthday has passed by now, but I hope. It was wonderful and that you enjoyed the special cake you associate with your Mom.

So happy to see you at home and recovering after the traumatic surgery. I can empathize with you feeling guilty about the extra precautions that were taken needlessly. You would have been saved so much stress had the hospital infection testing been accurately done. It’s hard not to feel bitter, but I know you will find your ‘calm’ once you are feeling better. So happy for you! 🥰Thor is so funny! I’m taking my stray cat in Friday to be neutered. We have such an explosion of cats in my area! One county Humane Society has 282 cats and another has 260! I would say most Americans keep more stuff than other countries, they buy too much and don’t get rid of enough. Renovations usually require some kind of storage unit to hold all their stuff.😂 Your house is going to be so neat and tidy!

Hospitals are used to dealing with setbacks and taking precautions and plan accordingly for them. You don't have ESBL.!!! That is so awesome and amazing. I imagine that it is such a danger to others that treating it as if you did until that knew 💯% that you didn't was the responsible thing to do. If you thought that you did, you would make sure 💯 % that you didn't pass it to someone else. If you thought you probably didn't but it was a possibility, they may not have been as careful. Had you had it and transferred it to another, that would have been horrific. Congratulations!!! And you look great. This is such great news. The future of you and the people around you just got immeasurably better. Here come the holidays and there is alot to be thankful for. YES YES YES!! Congratulations ❤

Eirin, you have been on my mind and then yesterday I went in to your community page and saw updates and that brought relief. So glad all went well and you are doing good overall... On the other side of all this WOW, Eirin this "mistake" has caused great emotional impact. They should be sued for this because they were using you as a number to fear monger others and that is not ok. To your therapist treating you less than human to others isolating you as if you don't have enough to bear in your own life... it is truly upsetting for me, I can only imagine how it is for you. Inexcusable behavior because their mistake has impacted you in ways that oops will not be enough in my eyes. Just because of your state of being, "the system" decide to use you and probably others as stigma to fear monger others.. not ok! in my outlook. I am so sorry for their lack of sensitivity and more so for how you been treated in your community for their error!! RIDICULOUS!! 😠 Anywho, so glad you are well and I hope true justice is served and that your therapist apologizes to you! (as a therapist I was baffled by their actions.. just my 2 cents) once again.. I am so sorry! So glad you are making changes to your living space to not only bring you joy but make you feel more at home- with love! 💕

@@eirinceciliegjedrem I'm truly very sorry! I am not sure how it works over there in the process of seeking a therapist but if you can please find one that honors you in all aspects. It shouldn't be seen as a doctor, it should be seen as someone who you can feel safe in processing your emotions with and for the first meeting that individual very well lacked in what should be a component or requirement needed to be a therapist aka sensitivity.. (just my 2 cents again... as a friend) I truly have no words for their actions! -* hugs *

I have to complete the assessment and then I plan on going back to my private therapist - if I feel I need it. She didn’t want to do the assessment herself, as I had certain rights once a serious mental illness was suspected. This is all currently free, as health care is free in Norway, but my private therapist is so wonderful; I don’t mind paying regardless of having the right to free treatment. I just need to know what I’m dealing with and then I’ll reassess ❤️ Thank you again 🥰

i had my womb and ovaries removed in 2006 because of a little cancer. it takes a while to feel better. do not listen to those rare lucky fast healing few! i hope you'll be one of the fast healing few but that is not the norm. take your time and try not to listen to those who SAY they were back to their previous shape in two weeks! please, indulge and pamper yourself! thank you for sharing your news.

This helps so much, because I am definitely struggling with pain and discomfort still 😮‍💨 The doctor said it will take at least 8 weeks to heal internally, but I thought I would feel okay instantly. I feel so much better overall, but I realize it is still a process - thank you for sharing 🙏🥰❤️

It's so funny how we really are "hystersisters" 😅 Our surgery date is same or very closely together just different years (26th of September for me, 2013) and our birthdays are even closely together! My birthday was on Saturday (19th of October) and I'm now officially in my last year of being in my 30's 😅 Early Happy Birthday! Hope you'll have a great birthday! Also, listen to your body now during recovery from surgery, it can take a long time to fully recover from a hysterectomy (up to a year), though the first 1-3 months are definitely the more intense. I know you probably don't actively feel pain the same way as someone without an SCI, but that the body often still gives signals, listen to those signals and medicate accordingly, staying on top of post op pain helps your recovery a lot as it lets your body rest and focus on healing and recovery

Hystersisters! I love it! 😄🥰🤩 Yeah, I have struggled with pain 24/7 since the SCI, so it’s been hard to manage the added pain connected to this - have to taper Tramadol soon…again 😮‍💨 I do feel so much better though, it’s a little unreal, honestly 😅

I believe your panic attacks could be effecting your vagus nerve because when I feel abdominal pain, my blood pressure drops and I can faint if I am not laying down. Maybe pain or stress effects the vagus nerve?
