I’ve had massive ADHD my entire life. I had the focus of a gold fish and still do sometimes. I was heavily medicated to try and slow me down with mixed results. I sadly became an opiate addict for 15yrs. I’m now in my 40’s and been clean 10yrs with the help of Bonsai. Bonsai is the only thing that has helped me slow down and focus. Bonsai has given me focus, patience, dedication and a purpose in life.

Magnificent trees, great sense of the nursery and the amount of care and dedication that is needed to fully enjoy the art of bonsai. Winter is starting in South Africa so every thing is slowing down - great to watch your videos to reenergise and stimulate my mind for the growing season to come.

Does everyone have their own tree(s) to look after? I wonder about the pruning part, I guess that would have to be done by the same person, right, to be consistent?

Hpw the hell do you even apply for an apprenticeship? Lemme guess...know a guy who knows a guy. Therbye makeing the (culture) of bonsai the antithesis of peaceful and joyful. For some, only DREAM of being able to drop an application.
