Either/Or: A Fragment of Life was published by Søren Kierkegaard in 1843, making it his first major work. It was written under the pseudonym Victor Eremita “Victorious Hermit”.
The book expresses the viewpoints of two distinct figures with radically different beliefs - the unknown aesthetic young man of Part One, called simply “A”, and the ethical judge of Part II, which he calls “B”.
The first part "Diapsalmata" contains some of Kierkegaard's most popular lines, such as the "unmovable chess piece", "the tragic clown", and "do it or don't do it, you'll regret it".
Kierkegaard was far more interested in making us think than in giving us answers. We are thus encouraged to decide for ourselves the merits of the various viewpoints presented.

Great video. In one of his stories, Edgard Allan Poe said that words had a physical power like that of an impulse in the air. Kierkegaard has shown this with his prose. Being one of the philosophers who most understood and unraveled the human psyche. Exploring faith, ego, despair, and happiness. Giving the human being a complexity that, to this day, continues to amaze us.

He who loves himself becomes great in himself. He who loves others becomes great through his devotion. He who loves god becomes greater than all. All is one because one is all since everything is interbeing and nothing is being in itself because everything is interdependent and interconnected to everything else as demonstrated by the Young's Double Slit experiment, where the observer is inseperable from the observed electrons.

En mi poca experiencia leyéndolo, lo mejor de Kierkegaard es sentir que te conoce mas que a ti mismo y te desnuda con los cuestionamientos que te plantea. Saludos 😊

It's easier to do "stupid" things to avoid being called "stupid" for not doing "stupid" things. But it gets easier when you give "stupid" a shot and find out yeah....that was "stupid".

Hello, i have the diary of a seducer as a stand alone book and it has been difficult to read because it makes me feel uncomfortable. The manipulation and the mental tricks are just to much for me. Now I know it’s part of a bigger book. So yeah, it shouldn’t be read as a separate thing

When is the charm of a smart and quirky woman ever boring? Good coffee is still good coffee. I believe it is the character of the anima/animus that occasionally filers through the collective subconscious.
