She is amazing live! Her songs are sung differently every time. I’ve never had the pleasure of attending any of her concerts, but I’ve seen many live performances on TV growing up (I’m Faroese too). I live in Denmark now, and every time she’s touring my city, the shows are almost instantly sold out. She likes small intimate venues, so not many tickets available, but it’s still really affordable.

Great reaction as ever Tauri. I love Eivør’s voice, so emotive.....if you love a Scandinavian songstress I thoroughly recommend Myrkur. Amelie is a Danish artist with an amazing voice who does folk through to old-school Black Metal.

She’s playing at the G! Festival this year if you like music festivals. The big stage is located on the beach surrounded by ocean and mountains, it should be quite magical and atmospheric. She’s from the town Gøta where the G! Festival is held.

Wow - I'd never heard of Eivør before the Feb 14th JustJen stream when someone made a request via Superchat for "falling Free". But when I saw the letter 'ø' with a line through it, I thought "ooh that looks Scandinavian" and "I must have a listen of them, preferably live". So now I've heard three tracks only. All live performances. (And I honestly never realised it was your request Tauri, until just now, when you said on this reaction video and then I went to check on Discord lol!) All I can say is each live performance is pretty amazing. And every song has a unique quality. And I am definitely going to be going down that rabbit-hole! Eivør have a great sound. I love them too (from what I've heard so far). Oh...and because of your initial Eivør request on Jens channel, I've ended up having a "Norse" playlist on youtube (with another two bands/artist with same type of sound/feel). So thank you! Love her singing. And as others suggested Myrkur. I would also suggest Hagalaz Runedance. She is Andrea Myer, who was killed in the attack in Norway in October. she is worth checking out

Someone else mentioned Myrkur and I heartily recommend her, along with Anna Von Hauswolff if you really like Eivor. I've seen Eivor live, stood about 6 feet in front of her and it was awesome. Seen Myrkur too doing her black metal stuff but check out her Folksange album.

As far as the soundscape-like mood/atmosphere of this song is concerned (at least until the percussion sets in), it reminds me of the songs "Nordnatt", "To the North" and "Storefjell" by the Norwegian singer Kari Rueslåtten - aka Tuomas Holopainen's muse (when she was in The 3rd and the Mortal in 1994).
