You can tell EJ edited this as he mentions HYPER SPECIFIC instances of the game and we got footage of it! (4:55) well beyond the scope of a slob. Geat job EJ!

I like the idea of widescreen 8 bit games but I think it would look better to crop it. Make Link and everything else bigger. The fun of the challenge in Zelda 2 - the best Zelda game ever - were all the enemies that drop down as pop up unexpectedly. But such a wide playfield looks like it takes out a lot of the fun.

For me, what I find is that when you extend the field of view for old games with 8-bit tile sets, the tiling becomes more obvious and everything feels a bit more flat. It's especially obvious at 03:45 in the palace area, all that screen space and most of it is so empty and repetitive to look at. I still like the Zelda II remake, but it's something I notice a lot in widescreen remakes and remasters of old games.

@@BenjaminNixonyeah. You can see the catalogs hanging mid air. But in 4:3 you would not.

Steam Deck and this are worth it unlike PS5 Pro

I love my Steam Deck, but I love how Valve does the hard work out in the open so other people can work with the same ideas and make their own improvements and personalizations. Like the developer commentaries in their games, I love their attitude of "Here's how we met this big problem, and here's our answer. You're welcome." These ROG Allies seem cool.

The fact it's a mini PC, reminds me of products from like 15 years ago.

Expecting dad here, very terrified (never wanted to be one), do you guys have a video where you discuss fatherhood? Thank you.

Well, we talk a lot about parenting in this playlist: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZDGnWiuaJqIY5I But more than that, I recommend this in-depth video about having her: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKqkkpWEgax9rtU

Good timing for the video. Especially with the PS5 Pro announcement being so outrageous in terms of so little you get for the high price tag.

I dont get, given the choice, why you'd want to hold the screen you're gaming on in your hands. and I dont want to hold my controller at eye level or bend my neck to controller level just to look at the screen. all fine if you dont have another option but why someone would prefer it, I dont get. not saying you can't.

These handheld PCs are gamechangers. I had an LCD Steam Deck and now an OLED personally. It's totally replaced my home consoles.

Y'all need to email James and tell him to do something cringe so you can get some views again.
