I have a N64 connected to an old CRT and I'm still considering getting this. Sometimes it'd just be nice to play on my main big screen TV with some friends.

As a business owner myself, I LOVE that you guys are open about the business side of Red Cow! Happy to say I finally joined your Patreon! I hope more people follow suit! If I might make a suggestion: y’all might make a fair profit selling acrylic cases for VHS tapes. You’d likely need to order a pallet from China but it would be a worthwhile markup to help fund the channel! Also, I always appreciate the editing. Quickly inserting a meme is always great. General Bacon for example. Cheers!

I remember coming from the SNES to the N64 and thinking something along the lines of: "How can anyone think this looks better? This is weird! Yes, it is 3D but ... so? Why are all my friends selling their old consoles and games suddenly to buy those strange looking new games?" Then I played Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time (and Mario Kart 64, of course) and understood the obvious plus points of this console. But I still loved the 2D look and design of "old" console games much more - and somehow knew that they would hold up better over the long run. I was treated like a weirdo for this! Funny how history changes its default state - even in trivial things like game consoles. What was amazing then is often ridiculed now. And vice versa. That being said, the N64 (or the PS1, for that matter) had a handful of games that were REALLY good and I would defend them now like I defended 16-bit games back then against the new 3D console games. I absolutely loved and still love Banjo Kazooie, Super Mario 64, Diddy Kong Racing and the two Zeldas. Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Mario Party 1/2 and Banjo Tooie (!) multiplayer were absolutely amazing and made even PC players come over for hours to play split screen matches!

What I love about Red Cow Arcade is that it is an enjoyable way to keep up with KZbin drama without having to deal with those often very peculiar people who typically make videos about it. Feels more likeable and grounded overall. As for how I have discovered this channel? Take a wild guess ;)

I discovered you guys a couple years ago (feels like a couple weeks) when I was searching for more information on the Monster Madness plagiarism scandal. I watched your thoughts, laughed and moved on. But the blessed algorithm kept recommending more videos, so I subscribed and have been a fan ever since. I love your channel and watching you guys banter. I am a cinema snob, so anytime you talk about film or do reviews I love it. I am excited to see what you guys do in 2025.

After I ran out of Red Cow VHS content I recorded the 4:3 AVGN episodes onto VHS. Fortunately in the PAL region E-240 tapes are pretty common, so I didn't have to use a lot of them. It was interesting to see how different his delivery was before the movie. Around Season 7-8 he started sounding *exactly* like Frankie's impression 😆

Ha! This video had the same energy as the video that I shared with you yesterday, Frankie, about one of the churches that I watch, which is exactly a "year in review" too! But it also has some teachings and preachings there to encourage us to this new year, so it is worth the watch! (And I was not expecting a quick analysis of the latest AVGN, which I miraculously watched because of the "legacy sequel" thing, and yeah, unfortunately our friend Nintendo Nerd is really stuck despite all his tries... But at least this one I think was a very close one in being good... To summarize the problem, I simply say that no matter hard James tries to make AVGN great again [no Trump pun intended] his main problem I say that is how AVGN continued after the AVGN MOVIE, which I say is a crucial breaking point to the negative side of his whole career, unfortunately... Basically all the "evolutions" he made to the character after the come back of the movie came out wrong... You and that guy Bryan, I think is his name, commented briefly a possible good evolution of the character in that wonderful video about the "Six Snix Flicks"...)

That Glitch Gremlin sequel at times felt weirdly reflective. I don't know if it was because Kevin Finn was back or what, but there were SOO many 4th wall breaking jokes about how obligatory the whole episode was, how they were aging out of the job, how both of them were not measuring up to others in their family but can't do what normal people do, etc. I don't know how seriously you're supposed to take all that, but even for green screen exaggerated melodrama that episode went all in on it.
