Hey EJ, when you say Ottawa are you talking Ottawa Canada? I lived in Ottawa a few years, I didn't know they are currents like that.

Howdy- yes, there are awesome rapids on the Ottawa, in Ontario. Beachburg is the closest town to the put-in of the rapids. Check out Wilderness Tours for rafting there.

Or Ottawa Whitewater Leaders (OWL). Used to guide for them in the '80s And don't miss Madawaska Kanu Center for some technical whitewater training.
