Can we please appreciate how well Justin is doing on his PFD? This is some smooth riding, skipping and boofing. Very nice to watch!

This Justin's mom, and I just want to say this was so much fun to watch! Great job on the video. We used to take Justin kayaking when he was pretty young, and after a bit of a scare one day when his kayak tipped over, I thought he'd never want to kayak again. But not only did he take it up a few years later, he has become (imho), a great kayaker! And mom here feels so much better when he is with a great bunch of friends who exercise safety when having loads of fun! Thanks Pete, for all you do to bring nature's beauty to the forefront, and making all this possible.

It is a River King mom! Thank you so much for the kind words! First of all, you did a fantastic job raising your boy! He is good people, great company and we have always had a blast whenever he is with us. As for the safety, we all look after each other and I always feel good knowing he has my back as well. Thanks for bringing a fantastic human into the world and for taking him kayaking when he was young!

Great vid and river Pete - but what's the purpose of the pool noodle in the boat? - extra flotation?
@RiverKingsKayak Жыл бұрын
Thanks chesky!! You wrap the noodle on the cockpit rim and it saves your shoulder during the walk. Extra padding!

Got to see Wilson’s last weekend, it was beautiful. Though I knew the run was short, was shocked at how short , and the water was reaaallly low, it was in real life. Is Tallujah similar it river length ( executing the lake take out)!

Wilson is 2 miles long and the Tallulah is only about 1.5 miles. So similar.

Yes, it’s very important to have a good nutritional set up. The exercising weightlifting, etc. feeds off the food you eat so to get more gains from it you have to eat properly and often depending on what you’re wanting to do.
