I just got done playing this quest and i was sobbbbbing!!

I believe Kupopo dissapeared because he fulfilled his purpose. I have a moogle tattooed on my arm. Ive been in love with them forever and this quest line makes me so happy.

In hindsight, Kupopo being not a typical Moogle was foreshadowed, as Twelveswood/ Black Shroud Moogles (who have "Kup" in their names) have orange (redish orange in game, yellowish orange in artwork and cgi) poms, while Kupopo has a bright red pom.

I guess the look of moogles wasn't something I even thought about since we've bumped into moogles of different regions with their minor visual differences and my brain probably assumed it was like one of the moogles from the Churning Mists... which I think had similar pom color? but an interesting twist nonetheless!

@@eji Churning Mist Moogles have pink poms, Dalmasca Moogles seem to be able to have pom colors in white or blue, while the surviving Moogles in The First have blue poms.
