Haven't heard that much fine house music in one battle! Nice!
@Skyjuice705 жыл бұрын
I think these two are the best I've ever seen. My house dancing days are from the late 80s, early 90s in NYC. It's amazing to see how far the dance and evolution in moves has come plus it's reach all over the world. As I mentioned before, these two dancers are great but this guy Ejoe just embodies the music like a beast. Outstanding!

Good to see Ejoe speaking so much to the crowd! This is a very encouraging video for a dancer like me who love music but isn't trained enough to do a lot of power moves.

I was already familiar with OG, so I was routing for him. They both have great style. However, I have to admit that Ejoe totally engages the crowd with his PERSONALITY when he dances. It is so obvious that he is ENJOYING himself. His joy is mesmerizing. I'm sure the crowd, as well as the judges could not help but to be enchanted. I was. Side note: OG is a capoeirista right? There is so much capoeira in his movements.

both guys moves are very NYC and is a style that can be appreciated mostly by NY house heads. especiall OG's. OGs style i've seen a many a party at S.O.B.'s and also stuff like 718 Sessions and Body & Soul. there's a lot of nuance there. it's very very interpretive...and yet also quite difficult.

Hi there. I know I am totally off thè page but your comment about footwork caught my attention. But I have a question about other dancers. The winners of Juste Debout House dance 2019 Caleaf and Tony Ray. It's about their different styles. Especially foot work. I haven't yet seen Tony Rays style in someòne else and it's unique. Yet i have seen it and grew up with it, becaue it reminds me of how my people dance. As I'm only a spectator I don't know the terminology to describe it.

Love it and reminds me my clubbing days in the early 90’s to about 2002 in San Francisco. Haven’t gone out since then and when I did go out last month to a few house parties, no one danced like this anymore and just step from side to side. So when I danced like this, everyone was looking at me like I went crazy. So did this dance art form die and now out of style? Bc I see hoise and disco parties all the time, but the house dancing art form is missing now.

Michail Solomons evolved as in ejoe has too many moves (rarely repeats his footwork or floor work moves) and not only that he can create on the fly better than almost anyone. Always move and dance to the music not what’s in your head. Let the music reverberate through your heart then body!
@micksolo29124 жыл бұрын
@@mg659er Now i get it. So he's not stuck in repetition. Is that totally natural or can it be taught and perfected with practice? Its a very good skill, because its captivating and not likely for your moves to be anticipated anď it's not boring for the audìence. We spectators do pick up repetition. Thank you for your explanation. I learn by reading comments, but not everyone have the time to explain.
