Honestly these are really beautiful and you make it look so simple I am in the process of hoping to become a small business making resin peices just like these I am hoping to start doin these keychains I have done one to start with after 4 practice goes of a few letters so see which looked best but after watching yours they look stunning and doming them definitely makes them look a lot better I have domed once and had a disaster on heart keychains and the resin got stuck to the front after filing you can see all the scratches you have given my hope again as I was starting to doubt myself but using this as a guide will help me thank you😊

I felt like it was needed to add some safety tips about resin (just so that people are aware) Better late than never right? 1. Resin is a chemical. When resin (all types, epoxy and UV) "cures"/ hardens, it heats up and releases a toxic gas/fumes (you may or may not be able to smell it, depending on your resin, but they are still there. 2. Please wear a RESPIRATOR MASK! Other types of masks will NOT work. If you don't and continue to inhale the toxic fumes you will be slowly POISONING yourself. 3. Wear gloves (as some people have already mentioned), as I stated before resin is a chemical. The gloves that are said to work the best are nitrile gloves. 4. Work in a well ventilated space! Like a garage with the garage door open. 5. Do your research BEFORE getting into this craft! I know that the things that people make can be cool, but you need to make sure that you are getting the right materials and tools. Do NOT start buying things before you research. Make a plan and have a goal in mind (this will help you avoid unnecessary spending). There are PLENTY of KZbin videos about resin for beginners. These are the basic rules that apply to resin. If any of my info is wrong, PLEASE correct me. I just want to make sure that everyone stays safe. Please do not be afraid to copy this and spread the word. This could really help someone. You did an great job on this video tutorial and the way you were able to dome your letters without spilling over was amazing! I made some keychains and the doming was the hardest part. I have a question: Don’t you have to torch your resin to get rid of bubbles?

Hi Linda. Thank you so much 😊 When I was just starting, doming is really very tricky. I learned the hard and expensive way coz I wasted too much resin coz of my failed pieces. But then, I kept on practicing until I was able to control it. In terms of using torch, yeah, I do, sometimes when there are stubborn bubbles 😊

Yeay, finally found a video that shows how to fix the rough surface after it cures! Thank you for the tutorial! Will try to do doming for my next resin letters. I tried layering before but I think doming is the technique I've been looking for 😂 Anyway, can I know if you had problem with bubbles on the cured resin? After it cured and you can find like some small hole/ breaking parts due to bubbles. I've been struggling with that 😕

Hi Diana. Thank you 😊 goodluck with doming. With the bubbles, yes I struggle with that also coz im using really cheap brand of epoxy resin. If you can, find the best brand to avoid bubbles. And if you do have those bubbles in cured resin that created hole, just fill it up with resin again, wait to cure then sand it using nail file.

Just soaked it on a soapy water and then wipe with used cloth, alcohol also helps or acetone.

Price ranges from 65-150 per keychain, depending on your supplies, target customers and location. I made my own thank you/business card, please check my channel for tge video tutorial. I got my stickers from Shopee also. You can try lookin on amazon, just search Kawaii stickers.

Yes, using lighter. But i just learned that 99% works best and doesn't ruin the mold. Just spray it once.

Hi, can i ask you something?? But first sorry for my bad english. I want to start resin business just like you. But i have struggle when it comes to put the glitters/fillers on it. Its always falls down. So the bottom is full while the top is empty, even tho I put it the same way you do. Any suggestion for me??

Hi 😊 you can do LAYERING. PUT clear resin first then let it cure until tacky then you can already put your resin with glitters 😊 Or you can use really really fine glitters, they don't settle at the bottom.

@@dwi1901 not exactly 3-4 hours, just look at the resin, if it's tacky already. But yes, find really fine glitters 😊 you can do it also! Goodluck!

1. Lighter, torch or heatgun 2. Mix slowly 3. Rest for at least 5 minutes before pouring

Hi. As much as possible, please use dried flowers coz fresh flowers withers through time.

Hi. Thank you 😊 Hindi mo na pwedeng i-store yung na-mix mo na resin kasi titigas na. I suggest na dapat planado ang mga gagawin mo para hindi masayang. Halimbawa, kung gagawa ka ng Keychains at may excess, pwede mo namang ilagay nlng sa ibang letters un para di masayang. 😊
