The more I think about it, Disgaea could become an entirely new experience of isekai anime dood. The entire concept behind the prinnies are just too interesting, since instead of having to defeat the demon kings/overlords as a prinny to reincarnate, the prinny protag would have to work his/her butt off for them to reincarnate dood. This side story is a good example on how it could've work dood

Why not just turn all of Disgaea as a anime series? Just get an anime studio to give it a new coat of paint and carefully follow the plot lines from the game and fix certain inconsistencies within it...

It’s likely that this particular Asagi remains as a prinny if she’s not permanently erased from existence after that catastrophic explosion. Either way there will always be another Asagi (See Disgaea 5: Research a Mysterious Netherworld) and all Asagi will share experience with each other (see Disgaea 4: Asagi HD). At least now she finally have a game to call her own.
