Mehrbani sey aik podcast unpaid labor par bhi kar dein. Why are women not paid for the same work from which men earn a lot of money. For example, a woman cooks 3 meals a day daily for her family. She also cooks extra for guests and during holidays. When men cook, they hire other men or women to do most of the work and earn money as cooks/chefs, etc. When men wash clothes they hire other people to do the work and make money as dhobis or drycleaning shop owners. When men become doctors no one expects them to cook, clean, babysit babies at night, help children with homework, participate in time-wasting pre and post wedding functions, etc but women doctors are expected to take care of the home, children and extended family/guests at the expense of not earning any respect or money as doctors.
