Right branch bundle block sounded scary when i was diagnosed today but the explanation make it sound less scary
@Guap3032 жыл бұрын
I know these are old comments but I'm 35 years old and have been diagnosed with a right bundle branch block since my late teens and early twenties, the cardiologists says that if you're young and healthy it's not a problem. It's actually very common in a lot of younger people. Just keep an eye on it as you age and especially if you do start showing symptoms otherwise most of us have probably had it most of our lives and never knew, if you're that worried about it see a cardiologist but from my experience it's not something to freak out about right away.

I just started experiencing some symptoms a few days ago and went tot he dr… did the ECG and saw the word “RIGHT BUNDLE BLOCK” my mind automatically went to the worst. As a 35 year old with hypertension and history of heart disease in my family, I began to research. This explanation really soothes my mind.

I'm 35 as well and recently went on for a panic attack and they discovered Rbbb , said heart structure is perfectly fine and nothing to worry about. I heard that if you have a structurally sound heart with no prior heart attacks that RBBB is perfectly fine and doesn't require much of any intervention

I saw a cardiologist who said I had LBBB and sometimes I feel light-headed, or short of breath which could be any number of causes such as stress. But I always have noticed that either my Systolic or diastolic is slightly elevated. I am reasonably within the 120/80 limits but sometimes a little bit over for example my Systolic may be at 125 but my diastolic is good, or my diastolic is like 88 and my systolic is good. My friend who is a paramedic once did a blood pressure reading on me and I don't know if it was because I didn't eat enough that day or drink enough or just stressed but I almost passed out while he was taking my BP. I felt light-headed and had to lay down, it was awful he took my pulse and said it was fine but I could sometimes feel my heart skip a beat or a sinking feeling in my chest during that episode of lightheadedness. I get this same effect (minus the skipping heart feeling) when I get blood drawn, I get very lightheaded. Also, a few years back they took an x-ray of my chest and made a note on my chart that they suspected I had an anterior MI. And just recently I went in for another x-ray because I was feeling out of breath all the time and the CT scan came back as fine, they told me everything looked good and I was healthy.. I just don't want to have heart problems as I age, so I just watch my fats and sodium and walk as often as I can. If any experts can give advice or their knowledge I'd love to hear it and of course, I will see a specialist if ever I become considered about symptoms but I feel fine. A recent sleep study showed I have poor sleep architecture so maybe that explains why I feel so tired upon waking but it eventually goes away

I get what your saying, RBBB and LBBB get dismissed as normal by 90% of cardiology. They usually don't care unless you are fainting and need a reason for it.
