Thank you so much Michele... I had never understood heart blocks until now (truly speaking). Your teaching it made it make sense to me and gave me a consistency on rules to follow when interpreting heart blocks. I had never been confident in interpreting heartblocks like I was this morning taking my test and reciting in my head "Ps and Qs marry" for Mobitz type 2. I thank God for making me come across your videos. Thank you again!

Thank you so much. Keep sharing whatever you learn with your peers. Starting a Journal club with your co-workers is great start in becoming an educator.

Hi Michele, I'm an RN from Singapore, studying for my ACLS and your Heart Block videos truly made me understand what heart blocks are..!! I am very appreciative of your videos. I climbed the ladder from an LPN equivalent to an RN and I aspire to be a Nurse Educator and am currently enrolled in a nursing residency program, unique to one hospital in Singapore and am working towards being an educator in the clinical setting. Thank you so much, your videos have taught me leaps and bounds..!! Cheers

Heart Blocks are difficult to remember: but keep watching the video over and over till you have it memorized. 1st degree is just a prolonged PR interval (PRI), 2nd degree type I- has grouping of QRS, where the PRI gets progressively longer, then drops the QRS. 2nd degree type II - still more Ps then Qs but every time there is a QRS the PRI pprior is consistent. 3rd degree has more Ps than Qs but there is no consistent relationship between the PRIs. Hope that was helpful.

"What my name, Winkybach" -love her. I which that she really differentiated how to identify 3rd degree heart block from Winkybach. I always think that some 'pri' are getting longer and drop just like type 1

I love this video so much!! I was struggling to differentiate between a 2nd-degree type 2 block from A 3rd-degree block and now I feel confident enough to know the difference and spot them on an EKG strip. I have my NHA CET exam in four days and am so happy that I found this video! Thank you so much for keeping this up and for helping future students understand.

@@michelekunz yes! I got a 421. Sadly there was only two or three EKG strips to interpret. But I need to know it when I start looking for a job! Thank you so much for replying.
