8:08: *of India 😂, sorry that’s just sleep deprived me speaking.. I expected this video to offend a lot of people, so well here are some clarifications to the comments we got 1. I am not lying about anything, let's make that very clear... 2. I am just sharing my OPINIONS based on what I have heard from peers in other IITs as well. And no, never did I say that other IIT students don't do well. I only argue that IIT Bombay will perhaps give you a better environment to explore where your interests lie. 3. IIT Delhi, of course, comes very close to the points mentioned above. (The only difference being the life of students - the fests are much better xD) 4. And I have always maintained that IF YOU HAVE AN INTEREST IN ANY SPECIFIC BRANCH FOR SURE, you are free to choose that in whatever college you're getting it. This advice was for (most) students, who are not sure what they want to do in life! All the best

Its ohk bhaiya don't just compare it with other IITs my brother is in iit bhu he is exploring so much he is happy with the environment and dedicated to towards his studies . Getting into IITs is so good and relaxing and we should not say this IIT is best or that it just bring a sot of concern to the student that he/she should get their otherwise he/she shouldn't.....!

IITD has all the opportunities as good as or in my view slightly better than IITB with one additional best opportunities of civil services preparation as well. But it is unfortunate that from recent past IITB became the first choice among the ranker (not all but maximum) due to masti (Mood Indigo) and somehow more beautiful campus than IITD. Students should have to prioritise the institute based academia, opportunities, hostel/ mess life, location from their residence. I think IITD should be the first choice for everyone except for south & south west region students. All old IITs are excellent but if we have to choose onevat first. It always be the IITD

This trend is changing more and more! Google seems to be one of the final big tech companies not having changed their rule YET. But, it doesn’t matter in placements, etc. if you are a great coder. You get much much better companies than even Google!

See, honestly all the points like clubs,exposure,alumni is applicable for ROORKEE too, now basically the IIT bombay gives you a good peer group, a good city, and ofc better recognition, but at roorkee your getting a good branch, a good scope, at the end, ig its matter of ur own conscience and ur decision

1. Bs cources, btech, mtech + btech valo ka 1st year ka course same rheta hai toh kya yeh sb same class me padhte hai 1st year? 2. Can a BS cource student do minor in Btech course? 3. Is branch change form Bs course to Btech is possible?

Bhaiya, I am getting many good colleges. But I decided with IIT KGP Civil(AIR 5381). Do you think IIT KGP is comparable to IIT B? I dont want to take BS in chemistry in IITB. I will fail in the first semester.

civil is better than bs in chemistry. and kgp is also a great college you will good exposure,good culture,great campus in kgp also.

@@Rndmsr207I have never once regretted my decision till now. The content taught here in physics is just as crazy and amazing as I thought It would be. As for placements, my seniors got placed in various companies which includes quant, software, AI/ML, consultancy and what not. But as for me, I am thinking that I will be going for a PhD. I know my seniors who got admitted to highly reputed colleges like caltech, MIT, uc berkeley. Also even though I am not from cse I have infinite amount of opportunities to explore their things. The tech team culture at iitb provides a great skillset so yeah, coupled with my good grades, even if I try for tech and sde roles, I will get one.

Don't take me wrong....But people saying ki take college over branch must also tell , that in that case 95% students become business persons or so called entrepreneurs not Engineers which is happening whether iit or nit we are producing business analyst not Engineers bcz of this misinformation , so if you have interest in a branch take it , even if you have to degrade college, at end its knowledge that will remain with you... .college life is for just 4 years only
