8:08: *of India 😂, sorry that’s just sleep deprived me speaking.. I expected this video to offend a lot of people, so well here are some clarifications to the comments we got 1. I am not lying about anything, let's make that very clear... 2. I am just sharing my OPINIONS based on what I have heard from peers in other IITs as well. And no, never did I say that other IIT students don't do well. I only argue that IIT Bombay will perhaps give you a better environment to explore where your interests lie. 3. IIT Delhi, of course, comes very close to the points mentioned above. (The only difference being the life of students - the fests are much better xD) 4. And I have always maintained that IF YOU HAVE AN INTEREST IN ANY SPECIFIC BRANCH FOR SURE, you are free to choose that in whatever college you're getting it. This advice was for (most) students, who are not sure what they want to do in life! All the best

IITD has all the opportunities as good as or in my view slightly better than IITB with one additional best opportunities of civil services preparation as well. But it is unfortunate that from recent past IITB became the first choice among the ranker (not all but maximum) due to masti (Mood Indigo) and somehow more beautiful campus than IITD. Students should have to prioritise the institute based academia, opportunities, hostel/ mess life, location from their residence. I think IITD should be the first choice for everyone except for south & south west region students. All old IITs are excellent but if we have to choose onevat first. It always be the IITD

This trend is changing more and more! Google seems to be one of the final big tech companies not having changed their rule YET. But, it doesn’t matter in placements, etc. if you are a great coder. You get much much better companies than even Google!

IIT kanpur becuase iit delhi's textile is not good for placement either it be core or non core I talked to a senior today. it you want to live delhi life choose iitd else iitk is great choice.

i am getting IIT bombay civil (in 2nd mock allocation) and also getting BITS pilani CSE....actually i like coding but...IIT bombay have advantage on college exposure, big city, tag value..while Pilani is a small city...and also..pilani is just 200km from my home, so i may not learn to travel much and live away from my parents..so should i choose bits pilani or iit bombay?

@@Rndmsr207I have never once regretted my decision till now. The content taught here in physics is just as crazy and amazing as I thought It would be. As for placements, my seniors got placed in various companies which includes quant, software, AI/ML, consultancy and what not. But as for me, I am thinking that I will be going for a PhD. I know my seniors who got admitted to highly reputed colleges like caltech, MIT, uc berkeley. Also even though I am not from cse I have infinite amount of opportunities to explore their things. The tech team culture at iitb provides a great skillset so yeah, coupled with my good grades, even if I try for tech and sde roles, I will get one.

If u have great interest in cse then choose 2nd generation iits, else choose top 3 iits or if u have choice of better branches like EE or MNC or Bs in economics u can choose that in top 5 iits As they very similar with cse and is in great demand. BS in economics is very good branch do some research u will know about it.

civil is better than bs in chemistry. and kgp is also a great college you will good exposure,good culture,great campus in kgp also.
