It's really refreshing that they got someone with a non-Copenhagen dialect to do the speak as opposed to normal habit. This dialect leans towards the island "Fyn" and the peninsula "Jutland". This can be heard in the lack of glottalisation in most of the sentences.

The Danish gentleman needs to SLOW DOWN for at least as much as the American voice. Honestly, this is an EDUCATIONAL video. These are phrases of beginner level pronounced at the speed of the advanced level. Other than that I loved the soothing music!

That would be because in order to say it properly you have to speak it fast. Take Russian for instance you can have one of the same word and if you say it slower sometimes it means something completely different.

I used Eko Languages a couple of years ago for Russian when I was dating my ex (she is Russian) These videos are great, though. I agree 👍 I plan on going back to Russian at some point, though. I love languages. It's difficult to pick an absolute favorite, but if I did, it would have to be Japanese. I started learning Japanese many years ago, though. It was the first language I attempted to learn on my own

@@Natalia_Kniazeva There is nothing difficult about listening to the video while you sleep. I do not know if I believe in learning a language by sleeping and listening to it repetitively. However, I am willing to try. If it works at all, it would probably take several months of listening to the video every night. I tried French for awhile and that was through listening to DVD's during the daytime and practicing for at least three months 3-4 times a week. I just could not grasp the French language so I am not sure I can grasp the Danish language either. I just think some people's brains are more hardwired for learning languages than others hence their ability to learn to speak multiple languages.
