As somone from Baltics (who also worked in construction, and now educated in AEC industry), I generally have no trust in most companies/people doing this sort of work. We have too many people who know very little or care very little about the craft. But you the fact you are doing it yourself, also filming it (proud of your work) gives me hope that craftsmen like you will not go extinct in the Baltics :)

Hi, all windows are supported with horizontal beam in full length off each wall (not only window part), you can see it in 0:05 in the video. It is way stronger than any type support done in Canada or USA. Dont worry, the load support is way too big for this project 👍

Если быстро и навскидку то двутавровые балки из "осп" очень часто проламываются от снега. У вас как понимаю они фирмы стейко.Особенно излом идет в месте где на них есть вертикальный шов. Есть много роликов где такие балки проломились от снега высотой от полуметра. В вашем ролике не очень видно какой пролет межды стенами самый широкий?

The overall house style is really cool though even if the roof was remade like the neighbors house on the pictures. I mean obviously he got drain pipes on that roof he has now, but I wonder if it's enough for many years to come.

@@Winamp_ one of my family friend has had this type of flat roof house for 15 years. they recently just replaced the roof and were dealing with constant leaks up to this point. flat is appealing to the eye, but roofs have been V shape since the beginning of time. they simply work the best.

Great looking house. I have so many questions. LOL I am a designer as well and do lots of renovations as well as having built several homes. Two quick questions, 1) did you add more insulation to the extra deep wall cavity and 2) did you use a sloping roof insulation package on top to get that slope? Cheers.

@@tomeriukas pilnai suprantu, tačiau bet kurio konstruktoriaus ar inžinieriaus paklausus, jis pasakytų: pagal Europos statybų reglamentą (ETAG) ir medinio konstruktyvo taisykles, jei vinys tuomet jie turi būti X3 ilgio jungiamo elemento. Beje tai mūsų diedukams jau buvo žinoma ir sovietmečiu. Taip išeina kad 45 mm kalibruotą medieną reikia šaudyt min 135 mm ilgio vinimis. O mes visi žinom kad pas visus viniakalės yra max 90 mm ilgio. Bet koks tech prižiūrėtojas, žinoma kuris yra bent jau kažką skaitęs apie medžio konstruktyvus, turėtų nepasirašyti ir atmesti 90 mm vinim sukaltą karkasą ir liepti perrinkti iš naujo pagal taisykles. Suprantu kad gyvenam paralelinėje visatoje kur visiem viskas px, bet man kažkaip ne..
