To answer the question about if AMC had anything to do with this movie. No, AMC had nothing to do with el camino and AMC did not even make breaking bad. Sony owns breaking bad and they hired a production company to produce it. Sony sold broadcasting rights to AMC in order for it to be on TV. For el camino sony and the same production company made it. Sony sold the distribution rights to netflix.
