I had a '67el Camino that the rear springs had collapsed due to a previous owner heating them to lower it. Me and a friend spent a day in a salvage yard getting station wagon springs and four door springs, swapping them out in the dirt parking lot until we found the ones that fit and gave it the right look.

Thanks for watching. Let me know what you think about featuring other peoples projects. I have been thinking about doing an episode once a month on peoples finished or close to being finished cars.

I like the idea of seeing other peoples cars. You could also do imports and motorcycles.

I would like to do pretty much every type of car. It would be nice to see some off road vehicles and rock crawlers as well.

Awesome seeing the El Camino roadworthy doing what it was meant to do. This random vlog was cool. Great content to have between projects.

Thanks. It is a bit different than what I usually do but it is a good way to show people what I do with the cars once they hit the road.

Loving those a body cars. They look good. I break those bits sometimes too, not a big deal. Good luck with that 350.
@BudgetBuildGarage5 жыл бұрын
I keep a couple on hand and I broke 3 that day but I had been using them all for a while. I think the 350 is probably going to end up in the Camaro at some point.

Get the Jeep box and steering shaft you’ll love it. Or even the monte ss box
@BudgetBuildGarage5 жыл бұрын
I have actually already replaced the box. I didn't do a video on it unfortunately because I need the Elco to pick up something else I haven't done a video on yet.

Budget Build Garage what box did you go with?
@BudgetBuildGarage5 жыл бұрын
It was a remanufactured quick ratio box. They are only $120

What kind of rims are those

The black ones? They are called D window rally wheels. Lots of companies make them for a pretty reasonable price and they are my favorite wheel.
@GPXironczech5 жыл бұрын
@@BudgetBuildGarage I love the rally wheels! By far my favorite type of wheel. I have an old set of corvette rallies on my 82 Grand prix that I've been trying to get running for awhile
