After taking a few train rides in the U.S, and even one that ended in Canada, I decided an international ride was next! And even though I had been to Mexico I knew nothing about northern Mexico. So if you didn’t know that Mexico had a scenic train ride - now you know!! It seems everyone who visits always comes in winter. I guess the majority of Americans think Mexico is all desert... 7700 ft. can be very cold in winter. So what did y'all think?! Also note I took this ride in mid-March so that's why it was cold in the morning! But I always recommend packing layers while traveling especially if you'll be outdoors/in more remote areas.
