This Catalan folk song (arranged by Miguel Llobet) tells the story of the princess Amelia, who is lying on her deathbed dictating her final testament, after having been poisoned by her stepmother. She ends the song by leaving her husband to her stepmother, since they have been having an affair for some time and Amelia was aware of it.
